Emma Cassidy’s family is in danger, so she decides to take the matter into her own hands. She finds a mentor, and trains to become a bounty hunter so she can find the man who has broken her family and bring him to justice.
Luke Brodie is the best bounty hunter in town. He works alone and doesn’t want any entanglements in his life. Luke witnesses Emma in action one night and after that their paths start crossing a little more often than Luke would like. Emma is a complication he doesn’t think he needs, even if they are hunting the same man.
I wanted to love this book, I really liked the premise and I liked the characters. Unfortunately, the story was very repetitive, in the characters thoughts and the story line. The entire book just moved very slowly. I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
