Mara has recently moved to Colorado to work as a small animal vet at a rescue and rehabilitation farm. When she attempts to ski her first black diamond run at the local ski resort, she may or may not have a panic attack that causes her some serious problems getting down the mountain.
Jesse is a local ski patroller, he finds Mara and helps her get down the mountain… but something about her seems very familiar to him. While he invites her to Après Ski to get to know her a little better it seems to be the start of a new friendship. But with friendship there is also attraction… and will their attraction bring something more?
Once again another hilarious and sweet story in the Love With Altitude series. Mara and Jesse are a fun, adventurous couple who both love their animals and are naturally pulled to one another. Surrounded by characters from book one, we get to revisit some old favorites (and not so favorites), and Mara is welcomed with opened arms as the new girl in town and settles in as a local comfortably. I loved that we got to see the end of season scene with the rugby guys and ski patrol doing their thing! Another well written, engaging and fabulous read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
