Forever (Friends #3) by Monica Murphy

3.5 Stars

Now that Amanda and Jordan have broken up, Amanda is trying her hardest to avoid him at all costs. But, Jordan realizes what he lost and will do whatever he can to earn her trust and get her back. Unfortunately things don’t go as smoothly as he would hope…

Admittedly, I have not read the books leading up to this one, but even without the background of the other stories I think this was a nice, solid YA read. Amanda and Jordan are full of teenager angst, with fairly underdeveloped thought processes… very YA. I liked the story, their feelings about each other and the resolutions to problems they had been having. I thought the ending was very sweet and appropriate.

Monica Murphy is a fantastic writer, and while this book moved fairly slow and didn’t really have a lot going on during it, besides tying up loose ends, I did still enjoy the book  as a whole.

Lastly, WAAAYYYY too much Snapchat. Even if that is what the teenage mind is always thinking about… it was just redundant. I feel like Snapchat owes some advertising money to the author now…

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review
