Angel Knight has thrown himself fully into the family business. When someone from his past returns to his life, he will stop at nothing to push any remaining feelings or compassion away so he can further his goals.
B.B. Reid is an evil genius. Her writing is fantastic and so dark and delicious you never know what to expect from a story she has written, except that it is going to be HOT and it will have you hooked from the first chapter.
Mian, Angel and their families are so intertwined in their criminal endeavors that there are constant twists and turns that you will never see coming.
I love Mian. She may come off as young and naive, but she didn’t grow up in the world she did without learning a thing or two. Just when you expect her to give in, she is stronger than ever and will stop at nothing to see her son.
Angel… and his buddies… are hot, sexy and filthy. Their treatment of Mian may be unnerving at times, but it is fascinating all the same.
If you haven’t read B.B. before I suggest you start now, this book was a fantastic first book in the duet, it leaves some unanswered questions and a cliff hanger that will have you begging for more.
