When Dahlia Lloyd is contacted by the Fox family with an interest in buying her business, they just won’t take no for an answer. Grieving the loss of her father and focusing on running the business he and her mother started together are the only tasks she is prepared to focus on.
Damien Fox get what he wants, and he wants to buy Dahlia’s bar. But, once they finally meet face to face, he decides there is something that he could want more… Dahlia herself.
‘Dahlia Lloyd was a walking, talking, sin of a woman. One who had me going out of my f***ing mind.’
With a battle of wills between two worthy opponents, who will come out on top?
I enjoyed this book! The back and forth between Dahlia and Damien is fun and entertaining. I liked that Dahlia is a strong businesswoman who isn’t easily intimidated by an opposing man. Damien comes off as cold and unfeeling, but has hidden layers to his personality. All in all, a sexy, light and enjoyable read.
