I Do(n’t) by Leddy Harper

4.5 Stars

Janelle Brewer had the biggest crush on her brother’s best friend, Holden. But one drunken night in Vegas irrevocably changed their relationship… after 5 years and one big surprise later, she must confront her ex-friend with some very important information he neglected to tell her…

Holden York once thought Janelle was his everything, but a morning after that couldn’t have gone more wrong tore apart whatever friendship they once had. When Janelle shows up on his doorstep he see’s his chance to reinstate her in his life… maybe with just a little bit of blackmail…

This book was fantastic! While Janelle and Holden spend a lot of time not discussing their feelings, they have a lot to make up for in the five years they were apart. Janelle is young and just starting to get her life to move forward after college. I did not love how her family kind of just left her in the dust, but she spends her time back in town hoping to repair those relationships as well. Holden was sweet and had never really let Janelle go… whether he verbalized that to her or not…

This was a light, fun and sweet read… starting with a little bit of love/hate which doesn’t last very long, Janelle and Holden’s story is a must read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
