Inked Hearts (Lines in the Sand Book 1) by Lindsay Detwiler

 4 Stars

With the end of Avery Johannas’ marriage, her satisfaction in her old life has started to crumble. So when she decides to leave it all behind for a fresh start, she vows to herself that this time she is going to do everything different. Until she meets Jesse Pearce…

In a brand new city, with a new roommate, a completely different job and a fantastic group of friends, she slowly regains her confidence and learns to be happy for herself. But her idea about avoiding men is quickly unraveling with her friendship and attraction to Jesse, she wants to believe they could be good together and this relationship would be different… but learning to trust again is harder than she thought…

This was a good book! Avery is a strong woman who realizes she needs a drastic change in her life if she is ever going to be happy. She is a talented artist who needs some self confidence and to surround herself with good people who believe in her. Jesse is a sweet, successful guy who has been burned by a relationship himself, but he gives Avery all the time she needs to realize they could be great together.

This was an endearing story of new beginnings and finding yourself along the way…

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
