Nailed It by Cindi Madsen

4.5 Stars

Ivy Clarke doesn’t believe in love… or long term relationships. So when she decides to renovate a house, and one of her flings shows up to help, she should be running for the hills. Except Jackson Gamble is her best friends brother… and he happens to know how to push every single one of her buttons…

When Ivy and Jackson start spending a lot of time alone together during the renovation, old feelings start to come back full force. Even though they’ve done the whole frenemies-to-lovers thing before, they decide this time will be different…

This was a fantastic book! This story was interesting and funny, I love some banter and sexual tension and this book had some of the best!

Ivy is pretty neurotic about her fear of commitment… of any kind. While her running away was trying at times, you could see where she gets it from with the unfortunate role model she had in her mother. But her best friend is a light in her life who stands by her and doesn’t judge her for her life choices. I loved this friendship, it was refreshing how accepting the two were of each other. Jackson seems pretty straightforward about wanting Ivy, any way he can get her and for however long she will let him. He is sexy, sweet, and determined… and you’ll be rooting for him the entire time!

I received a complimentary copy of the book for my honest and unbiased review.
