A Little Too Late by Staci Hart

5 Stars

After moving to the United States to take a job as an au pair, Hannah is back at square one in trying to find employment. She left her first job abruptly and is suffering from the distrust she gained in working for her old employer.

Charlie Parker is in desperate need for childcare for his two kids. After his wife left him (and their children) he has been adrift in how to handle his new single Dad status.

Hannah is so gentle and kind, she is always ready with a smile and is a genuine, amazing person. Charlie is a workaholic, who realizes that life has been passing him by… and that he needs to do something about it…

This book was fantastic! I loved Hannah, she was a breath of fresh air in Charlie and his kids’ life, she is such a giving person and truly cares about their happiness. Charlie has had a rough few years since his wife left him, but when Hannah blows in his life he has an epiphany about how he wants to change and be more present. But, Charlie and Hannah need to trust in each other and rely on each other before the outside world comes crashing in.

Sweet, heartwarming and effortlessly sexy, this book is compelling and a must read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
