4 Stars

Mellie Rogers is happily single. And even if she wasn’t, the last person she would want to date would be her new boss… who may or may not have seen her partially naked…

Jake Creed had quite the welcome to living in New Orleans. And now the object of his fantasies turns out to be his newest employee… no conflict to see here, folks.

This was a fun read! Featuring the slowest of slow burns, and a LOT of sexual tension.

Mellie is the manager at a local New Orleans hotel. She spends her days putting out fires and basically running the entire business. She is also sweet, sassy and extremely klutzy… especially around her new boss.

Jake moved to New Orleans with the sole purpose to renovate the hotel that he recently purchased. Meeting Mellie was unexpected, and something he is extremely interested in pursuing… whether he’s her boss or not.

This book is filled with an entertaining back and forth between Mellie and Jake and their  off the charts sexual tension. While their working situation completely complicates things, there’s no denying how much they want each other.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
