Baby Maker (It takes Two #1) by P. Dangelico

4.5 Stars

When Stella Donovan decides she wants to have a baby, the conventional way just isn’t going to cut it. After some extensive research she decides to write up a baby contract to co-parent with a father who wants a kid as much as she does… just not the marriage that comes with it.

Dane Wylder has recently retired from the NFL and he is looking toward his future and the desire to continue on his name hits him out of nowhere. Now all he needs is a “baby maker” who wants the same things he does…

Stella and Dane couldn’t be more opposite, but once they get to know each other the idea of making a baby together gets to seem more and more like a reality… luckily for them the contract ensures there aren’t any messy things like feelings to get in their way…

I loved this book! It was such a different and enjoyable read, with an interesting plot and fantastic characters.

Stella is a woman who likes to plan for everything. She is independent and self sufficient. She knows having a baby by herself would be hard, and she wants her future child to be able to have a father in their life, without having the messy expectations of a relationship with said father.

Dane is a playboy, who smiles continuously and seems to take nothing in life too seriously. When Stella fails to take his interest in having a baby together seriously, it becomes his mission to get her to change her mind.

When these two people, who are successful and whole on their own, start to spend more and more time together in pursuit of a baby, something happens. Slowly but surely, the lines of the contract start to fade and whats left is something… real?

This book was a sexy and unique, slow-burn romance that is not to be missed!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
