3.5 Stars

Ellie Seyfried feels like she has a lot to prove in her journalism career. When the idea for a story in gender inequality in the workplace presents itself, she decides she needs to approach her research from a fresh angle… by pretending to a man…

Jack Holt thinks Ellie’s idea is crazy, but he wants her to know that he believes in her, so he offers to help in any way he can.. even going as far as to give her some “man lessons” to aid in her disguise.

But, what Ellie and Jack didn’t count on is how her plan brings them closer and turns into some intimate time spent alone, and once they get their hands on each other… there is no turning back…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ellie’s career is not going how she envisioned it. With an increasing amount of soft stories handed to her to write, she wants to be able to write something that makes a difference in the world. With the permission from her brother and his best friend, she starts working at their company to get some insight into how their business is really doing with the gender gap. But, realizing that she has a disadvantage already from just being a woman, she comes up with a crazy idea on how to further her research.
Jack is extremely attracted to Ellie, but as his best friend, and business partners little sister, he knows when to stay away. But, being around Ellie daily takes it’s toll, and those feelings that he has always pushed away are back with a vengeance.
This was a fun and unique read! I loved Ellie and Jack’s sweet, friends to lovers relationship and their undeniable attraction… fake mustaches and all…
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
