Until Nox (Kindle Worlds: Happily Ever Alpha) by Layla Frost

3.5 Stars

Augusta “Gus” Allan walks in on the surprise of her life, and soon finds herself homeless as a result. Lucky for her there is one sexy, Scottish/Irish, large and delicious man who steps in and saves the day.

Killian Nox isn’t purely selfless in offering Gus a place to stay. He loves thinking about her staying at his place… and in his bed, when he is traveling for work and away from home.

When two people who have just met embark on a new friendship while living together, although the attraction is there, they refrain from acting on it in their unsure new roommate footing. Until, their newfound closeness is threatened and they have to decide how much they are willing to change in order to be in each others lives…

This was a good read! Gus is a strong woman who is determined to work hard and be successful. Killian is a man whose job deals in some shady stuff, but he wants to protect Gus and be there for her in any way he can.

This novella was a slow burn, roommates to lovers story that re-introduced us to some of our favorite characters from the previous work of Layla Frost and Aurora Rose Reynolds.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
