This book was such a fantastic read!! Reese is a swoon worthy hero who is going to stop at nothing to convince the love of his life that love truly does exist… and she is the only one he has ever felt that way about…
After watching the aftermath of her parents ruined marriage, Erin has no desire to ever follow in their footsteps. Content to date casually and focus on her career, it isn’t until Reese kisses her that she has ever really acknowledged that she may have more-than-friends feelings for the man who has always been there for her.
Reese is a man who knows what he wants and (most of the time) achieves it. He loves his job as a NICU nurse, his family and of course, Erin. Deciding to use their childhood pact as a good enough reason for his sudden pursuit, he isn’t above tricking Erin into falling in love with him as well.
I completely adored both Erin and Reese’s characters. While Erin fears love and the inevitable change in their rock solid friendship, Reese is someone who balances her out perfectly with his absolute trust in the solid relationship that they have already built.
This book was an incredibly sexy and fun, friends-to-lovers romance that you will not want to miss. With nuanced, well written characters, who you would love to know in real life, you will be completely invested in them finding their HEA.
