The Varlet and the Voyeur (Rugby #4) by L.H. Cosway & Penny Reid

Josey Kavanagh has spent her formative years a little too comfortable in living with her parents. Finding herself in need of a place to stay… and a job, when an unexpected offer for both lands in her lap, it seems to be the perfect solution to her problems. And even though it’s not terribly conventional, she isn’t about to refuse…

William Moore is an unapologetic voyeur. Never having to explain his proclivities to the outside world, when one of his past relationships sells his story to the press, his private life is suddenly very out in the open. Determined to resist the pull of getting himself any worse press coverage, Will decides to hire someone to stay with him and help him stay grounded…. and somehow Josey, who may be the worlds least steady of people is the perfect person for the job…

This was another great read in the delightful Rugby series. Josey and Will are not only a very unconventional couple, but you should probably prepare yourself for their sexy (non) relationship to set the (not real paper) pages of your e-reader aflame…

Josey is super awkward, yet determined to get a handle on her continuous chatter and her need to fill any and all silent moments. Studying to become a vet, she is grateful for the opportunity to live with Will and have some of her expenses paid for helping him out with his need for a companion.

Will is a very stoic man, who prefers to keep to himself, and his… arrangements. Uninterested in dating, he has used his strictly planned voyeurism as a replacement for relationships and the messiness that comes with them. Unfortunately for him, as a solution, this one hadn’t worked out as he had planned…

While Josey knows she can be a lot to handle, Will never acts like she is anything less than delightful to be around, and the two of them form a friendship almost immediately. When living in close quarters, and a shared paper thin wall get these two viewing each other differently, they agree that their attraction is worth acting on… but with very specific rules to keep things from getting messy… which always works out…

Say it isn’t so, is this the end of the Rugby series?! Penny Reid and LH Cosway made for a seamless writing team, with each book in this series fabulously entertaining and a pleasure to read, I only have hope that these two incomparable authors have more co-writing up their sleeves…

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
