Rockaway Bride by Pippa Grant

5 Stars

Dax Gallagher is a desperate man. From problems with his bandmates, to his dire financial situation, his entire life is falling apart around him… and he decides that it is time for him to take matters into his own hands. When he sets out to find some leverage against the man who stole his entire fortune, he wasn’t planning on kidnapping his fiancée… but sometimes these things happen….

Although Willow Honeycutt was having second thoughts on the eve of her wedding, being kidnapped from the festivities was definitely not in her plan. She has decided that now that she has already started this crazy journey, she is going to not only spend her time away doing some amazing new things, but her new companion is coming with… whether he likes it or not…

YESSSSS!! Another hilarious and unique read from Pippa Grant!!! Dax and Willow were the most entertaining, genuine couple whose antics had me laughing out loud and falling in love with them on every single page…

Willow is getting married to a man she isn’t so sure she loves anymore. With second thoughts and too much mead, she wakes up the next morning handcuffed… to a rock star?

Dax is in a rough spot. With a recently cancelled tour, a missing band member and now his entire savings wiped away, life just couldn’t get any worse. Until he makes a big mistake and kidnaps a bride-to-be. Upon waking, she promptly hands him his ass and ends up saving him in the same breath.

I LOVED Willow. She is a tough, yet supremely adorable preschool teacher who finds her inner wild child and… runs with it. And poor Dax is tortured… and cursed, but finds himself thawing out when spending time with someone as refreshing as Willow…

Willow and Dax were as different as they come, but with a whole lot of humor and a desperate need to see each other naked, their impromptu journey may bring them life changing experiences that they won’t soon forget… or ever want to…

This book was such a fun read. I mean, the Nun nicknames alone had me in a constant state of inner giggle. Dax and Willow were fantastic, well written characters who venture out of their standard existence and find something they never imagined they could have…

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
