Church. (Church #1) by Stylo Fantôme

4 Stars

Trapped in a life she wants no part of, Emma Hartley is living with a mother she hates, attending a college she can barely bring herself to care about, and is quite simply trudging through life. Until… she meets HIM.

Church Logan is special. He is a God amongst men, and he knows it. Emma looks like a fun distraction for someone like him, and he is prepared to use her however he sees fit…

When obsession and these two dark souls combine, no one will be safe. Least of all them…

This was a great read! Completely original and pretty freaking dark, Church and Emma will take you on a journey that will leave your mind reeling in it’s aftermath…

Emma is once again starting over, and she may finally be on the path to making something out of her life. But, when the mysterious Church shows up, all her focus turns to him and stays there.

Church is a genius who can manipulate someone as easily as breathing. Unfortunately for Emma, he has his sights set on her… and yet, she can’t wait to be victimized by him.

Twisted and imperfect, the relationship between Church and Emma is one that only they will understand. Soulmates, for better or worse, and if you happen survive being a bystander to their story, you may witness their greatness in all of it’s bloody and destructive glory…

I was completely fascinated reading Church and Emma’s story. Not ready for an ending  yet, this book is number one in a duet and will leave you desperate to read book number two. With a lot riding on Emma and Church in the next book, I hope to see more of the progression of their genuine feelings for each other and for this unconventional couple to find their own twisted way to a HEA.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
