4 Stars

Adele Reins has no idea that the overwhelming feeling she has that she is missing something important in her life would be solved by one horrific car accident. The man of her dreams may be the product of her coma…. but when dreaming feels better than being awake ever did… how will she return to real life, ever again…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While I Was Away was a haunting story of fate and the depth of feelings of finding your one true love. Adele’s journey consists of a convoluted and gnarled road that any lesser woman would be lost within the overwhelming circumstances she faces. Romantic and painfully beautiful, this love story is unlike any other you have ever read…
Sitting down to write this review, I find it incredibly hard to verbalize the storyline without giving too much of this unique plot away…
The characters are fabulously represented, and with several different storylines from Adele’s loved ones, there ends up being more than just the one story happening in this all encompassing read.
I was immediately drawn into the plot, and was continuously left guessing as to where this story would ultimately lead.
The writing itself provides a dream-like imagery that lends a distinctive mystique to the all-around surreal quality of this story.
Well, there you go… I know it’s vague, but if you like your romance written into a non-traditional, yet fascinating story, then this is a book you will not want to miss.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
