Oh man. I really wanted to love this story, and Nine was a character I couldn’t wait to see more of, but in the end I just couldn’t connect with him or his love interest, Lenny. I think the biggest issue for me was the attraction and relationship between Nine and Lenny just didn’t deliver. There was no real heat or excitement involved to fuel it’s development, and I really wanted more for them.

The plot was really well done. With a few twists and a whole lot of suspense, the story flowed and kept me interested. It is always delightful to revisit the King Series and get some glimpses into my favorite past couples, and Nine absolutely delivered with the whole gang and then some!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
