Lies was a sexy, suspenseful and consuming read that I absolutely did not want to end! Betty and Thom’s relationship may be built on numerous and unforgivable lies, but when danger lands on their doorstep, their relationship is about to become more real than ever…

Betty was such a fantastic character! I couldn’t get enough of her snark and her refusal to let Thom off so easily for his lies. She was tough and knew her worth, and when she decided she deserved more than Thom had to offer, she was prepared to drastically change her life. I loved her attitude and when she started noticing how irresistible “new Thom” was, the struggle she endured to not give in to his newly unleashed charms was hilarious and provided all kinds of fabulous sexual tension.

Thom was a master chameleon, who lived for his career and effortlessly lived a double life. While he was comfortable in his unattached status, when he meets Betty, he discovers the woman who will change everything he ever thought he wanted. While he started out as a mysterious character and was very hard to read, the more that Betty learns about the man she thought she knew, the harder it may be for her to walk away in the end.

Kylie Scott has written another unique and unforgettable read! Betty and Thom’s romance has a unconventional beginning and is built on very shaky ground, but with a whole lot of suspense and sexual tension, they will find out just how real their attraction really was. I enjoyed this world immensely, and was so sad for this story to end! I would LOVE to see more from Betty, Thom and ALL of the other fascinating characters of the “zoo”!!
