*** Revenge At Raleigh High is book two in the Raleigh Rebels series and should be read after book one, The Rebel of Raleigh High. This review may contain spoilers if you are not yet caught up in the series. ***
Raleigh High has been left reeling in the aftermath of a tragedy that no one saw coming. Despite it all, Silver Parisi is still standing, and her boyfriend Alex Moretti is right there by her side. But, high school isn’t over yet… and Silver and Alex have a whole new set of obstacles jumping up in their way, but as long as they have each other, the people of Raleigh had better start watching out for them…

Revenge At Raleigh High was the dark and scorching second part in the Raleigh Rebels series. Silver and Alex may have found each other in high school (of all places), but Raleigh High is far from what it seems, and their struggles haven’t abandoned them just yet. With a love so strong, there is nothing that can get in their way… except, of course, for the utterly catastrophic…
This was a good second part of the series. The suspense is top notch, and the writing is, as always, incredible. I absolutely love Callie Hart’s ability to weave some of my favorite previous characters into her books so perfectly, and Revenge has quite a treat in it for those of us who never miss a book!!
And while this was a great read plot wise, my biggest issue is that I feel like Alex and Silver may have lost some of their chemistry by this second book. The sex is hotter than ever, but their previously all-consuming love now feels a little flat and underwhelming. I still adored both of their characters, Silver is a survivor through and through, and I was in complete awe of how she handles things. Alex is supportive and still very much the bad boy, but to Silver he is devotion personified. And while there is still a lot of drama and numerous life issues up in the air, now that Silver and Alex are a little more settled, their romance leaned a little too much toward the unremarkable...
After an ending that feels like there is a whole lot of story left unsaid, I hope for more from Silver and Alex, as their HEA feels far from achieved…
