5 Stars

After a great deal of loss in her life, author Olivia Rossi travels to Paris to try to recapture her muse before her career ends up in shambles, just like everything else. But socializing and going out in public all seems so trite to her since the implosion of her previous life. And then she meets a man at a cafe who seems to recognize her pain as if it were his own…

James Blackwood is a soulful painter who attracts attention everywhere he goes. So when he shows an inexplicable interest in unremarkable Olivia, it seems like something out of a fairytale… but fairytales are almost always too good to be true…

Perfect Strangers was a story that is guaranteed to stay with me long after it’s last page has been read. This book was funny and incredibly sexy, sweet and engaging… and oh man, there are twists and turns that resulted in some book induced sobbing in there, too. Olivia and James connect with not only their blazing hot sexual chemistry, but also their sense of all consuming loss. And when they decide to embark on a fling with a pre-set ending date, they agree that the less they know about each other the better…

No spoilers here! I loved everything about this book! From the smoking hot and deliciously dirty sex scenes, to the complex characters and the jaw dropping moments that left me speechless, this book reads like a visually stunning movie.

Perfect Strangers was edgy, brilliantly different, and it showcased the superb talent of it’s author, J.T. Geissinger. In fact, it is also already cemented as being one of my best reads for the entire year, that’s how good it is.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
