Savage Hunger was the spicy and tumultuous start to the new Savage Trilogy. Candace and Rick once promised each other the world, but now that they have spent the past ten years apart, their lives have changed unequivocally. Does the love they once shared no longer fit with the people they have become… or will they pick up right where they left off…

Candace was left completely broken when Rick broke things off between them. After years of not being able to move on, she has now taken the biggest step since their parting… and is engaged to another man.

Rick went from surgeon, to mercenary, to his newest gig at Walker Security. Fighting for the good guys has changed his outlook on life, but when he finds out that the woman he loves may be in danger, Rick vows to eliminate anyone who dares threaten her.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book, and I loved the second chance that is in the works for Candace and Rick. They had a truly steamy connection from the moment they met, and their sex is already off the charts hot. And although I didn’t really connect with either of the characters, this story was definitely an engaging read.

This trilogy will continue with book two, Savage Burn, which is set to release in February 2020.
