Phoenix Bailey dreams of becoming a famous singer, but living in Lake Starlight, Alaska is the last place she will ever be discovered. After coming home from a stint in Los Angeles with one failure under her belt, Phoenix meets the answer to all of her problems… music producer Griffin Thorne… well former music producer…

Griffin Thorne is done with the cutthroat and fake environment which is life in Los Angeles. He wants a better life for his young son, and Lake Starlight seems like the perfect place to find it. Now, if only finding a new nanny was as easy as picking up his entire life and moving to Alaska…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was sweet, sexual tension fueled story about a young woman fighting for her dreams, and the man who has the power to make them all come true… and steal her heart in the process…
Phoenix and her twin are the youngest of the Baileys, and she is reminded of that fact every day… from at least one or more of her immediate family members. Returning home after failing to make it in LA, she feels like the most inadequate member in her large, and getting larger by the day, family. But her dreams to sing are still burning within her, and when she hears about THE Griffin Thorne needing a nanny, Phoenix knows this is just the opportunity she needs to be heard…
Griffin is done with producing music. After realizing that life in the spotlight is not for him, or his son, leaving LA behind might just be the best thing he has ever done. Until he hears Phoenix sing, and his desire to mold her into a superstar takes over… along with his desire to have her in his life… and his bed, forever…
The love story for Phoenix and Griffin was another amazing Bailey read. I have been waiting ever so patiently for Phoenix to find her HEA, and I was completely sold on her relationship with a (slightly) older man who she not only treads carefully with, but shows him that even with his jaded view from his previous career holding him back, Phoenix Bailey is not the typical fame hungry artist he is used to working with.
I really enjoyed this read, but I am left with a couple questions… like, what has happened to the Lake Starlight Buzzwheel?!! I am dying to know, and why wasn’t everyone in the book lamenting it’s inactivity?!
Secondly, for a family I have come to enjoy reading so much, I was so disappointed in how the rest of the Bailey family treats Phoenix! She may be the youngest who has had some growing up to do, but it seems like no one ever has her back except her twin… and it made me so freaking sad for her!!
And lastly… the ending was so heartwarming and extraordinary, that just that piece alone made this book a fabulous read… and it definitely has my fingers itching for my next Bailey fix…
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
