Seth Harding is known as the King of Meet Cutes, aka that random adorable moment when you met the love of your life… might not be so random after all. Orchestrating a moment to get a relationship started may be his career, but Seth doesn’t necessarily believe in letting fate make it’s own love matches…

April is a florist who is working hard to get her business off the ground when she meets the most intriguing man. There’s something about Seth that April just can’t get enough of… but she also starts to wonder why is he suddenly hanging out in the background of all the places she tends to frequent…

The Romeo Effect was a funny and adorable story about the man who manipulates love as a career… and the woman who calls him out for it. Seth and April may have met when a client of his already has her in his sights, but when the two of them experience a true connection, Seth faces a professional dilemma… and the possibility of a forever love he never saw coming…

This was such a cute read! April was a funny and sweet character who works hard, has some fantastic friends and has a great head on her shoulders. When she finds out that she is the subject of one of Seth’s meet cute clients, she makes it known how much she dislikes the idea of it all… and yet is very interested in Seth himself…

Seth was very good at his job, but once he sees the other side of his love machinations through April, he starts to realize just what a hazard some of the situations his business sets up may really be. And even though he has a strict policy about dating someone who was previously connected to a client… there is something about April that makes breaking all of his rules completely worth it…

I really enjoyed the plot and characters in this book. Seth and April were sweet and fun, and had some undeniable chemistry that they just couldn’t avoid forever. The premise for the Romeo business was fresh and original, and presented so many fun possibilities. I was annoyed that a certain client didn’t get a little retribution that I felt was coming to him though… that would have been GREAT to see!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
