Something in the Air was a slow burn romance that brings the heat and an adorable relationship with it! Michaela and James are fast friends when she starts to work for the production of the Running on Air tv show, but when James’ life suddenly changes and he and Michaela end up living together, it is only a matter of time before their friendship turns into something MUCH more…
Michaela is the newest PA to join the Running on Air family, and while her bigger-than-life bosses seem to enjoy life in the spotlight, Michaela prefers her quiet and unassuming lifestyle just fine. Michaela was such a sweet and caring person, who genuinely wanted James to be happy, and when his engagement ends and he is suddenly single, she truly struggles with her feelings for James in his time of upheaval.
James seemed like a really quiet, yet genuinely nice man. When his difficulties in his previous relationship come to light, you just can’t help but fall for his semi-tortured, but devoted personality. He and Michaela’s attraction was spicy and authentic, and even though they may have some hurdles to overcome, their love for each other couldn’t be any more deserved.
This was a great read! The connection that Michaela and James shared was super sexy and built on genuine compatibility. The plot was engaging and well done, and most of all, the Running on Air series continues to deliver with another solid read and even more delightful character progression.
