But when the Lawton family needs him, the Texas Ranger returns to the last place he ever wanted to be, and right into the arms of the woman who means everything to him…

This was a really good read! Kody and Hill’s story was an emotional and sexy second chance romance, which seemed like it had no chance of progressing past the hurts of their past. But in dealing with the complicated reality of their forever unspoken feelings, the love that Kody and Hill have been harboring may finally find a way to break free.

I have really enjoyed the Loveless Texas series and its complex characters that have made it so enriching. Blacklisted is the next book in the series, and if what the next couple has encountered so far in Unforgiven is any indication, they are in for one wild ride…
