The Second Time Around was a sweet and heartwarming, second chance romance set in the delightful town of Hope Valley. Tessa and Bryce once fell in love in a whirlwind romance they hoped would stand the test of time, but in reality, falls to pieces with the first sign of trouble. And now, with Tessa’s move to Hope Valley facilitating a reunion between them, Tessa and Bryce will soon remember why they fell so hard for each other in the first place…

Tessa was such a fantastic character! She was strong, sweet and so very caring, and fit in perfectly with the awesome women of Hope Valley. With a tragic childhood incident leading to her being a foster kid, her work at Hope House takes on a special meaning in the wake of her own past struggles. I loved not only her dedication, but also her determination to have a family of her own, whether it be through great friends or her work at Hope House.

Bryce is a retired military man working at Alpha Omega Investigations with the rest of the sexy alpha males littering Hope Valley. He was gorgeous, attentive, and incredibly protective of Tessa. And even when he knows it won’t be easy to win Tessa back, he was doing everything in his power to let her know he was all in this time, and would never break her heart again.

This was such a lovely read! I adore the residents of Hope Valley, and Tessa and Bryce were no exception! Their second chance was a quiet build up with very few (relationship) waves, but with a romantic and sweet connection that focused on family and getting over their past.
