When Ginnie Angelico finds an unusual glass bottle, her artistic eye is immediately drawn to it. But, when she soon finds out that her new glass bottle comes with with a wish attached… well, she decides that she wants nothing to do with it! But avoiding making her wish becomes impossible when the mysterious Mr. Wish himself decides to take her wishing reluctance into his own hands…

Wish was a cute and entertaining “Genie” romance with a side of mystery thrown in. Finding a genie bottle and being granted any wish you could dream of is a fantasy most people would jump at the chance to receive, but if life has taught Ginnie anything, it’s that if something seems like it’s too good to be true, it probably is… and that includes her own personal Genie, aka Marus Prospero.

This was a fun read that had a fascinating plot and interesting characters. Ginnie is a glass artist who works hard to stay afloat and support her dreams on her own terms. Being offered a wish by the mystifying Marus seems like an amazing opportunity, but Ginnie has never been one for hand-outs… and she finds herself more interested in Marus himself than anything materialistic that he can offer her…

I was so intrigued by the concept of this book, but there were a few aspects that just didn’t deliver the story I was hoping for. The mystery of Marus was resolved quickly after being a vague mention throughout the book, and I wanted more from the chemistry  aspect of Ginnie and Marus’ relationship. But in the end, I thoroughly enjoyed this read and the unique storyline it provided!
