I was so excited to finally get Sedona’s story after viewing her from afar for so much of this series! Her love and dedication to her daughter was incredibly beautiful, and her relationship with her siblings was a true tribute to the generosity of the entire Bailey family. And while she has loved Jamison for as long as she has known him, Sedona also showed how strong of a woman she was when she left him to give her daughter the life she deserved.

Jamison suffers from an addiction to drinking, which has shattered more than just his relationship with Sedona. With the end of his career and his reputation in shambles, Jamison has a lot of work to do to repair his life, but his most important goal is reuniting with his family, and proving his worth the greater population of Lake Starlight.

As the final full length novel in The Baileys series, this book delivered the memorable second chance romance that I have been not so patiently waiting for! Sedona and Jamison’s relationship was teased and eluded to, but it wasn’t until I read it for myself that I could properly fall for these two characters. Their love was genuine and meant-to-be, but the mistakes they have made will make a reconciliation between them a hard and meddle-worthy endeavor.

This series provided laughs, tears and all sorts of sexy distractions, and I am giddy with excitement to see what comes next out of Alaska! And, just to mention the infamous Lake Starlight Buzz Wheel… those who have been waiting for it’s reveal will not be disappointed!!!
