Truth in Pieces was a fascinating and provocative story permeated with twists and turns that you will never. see. coming! Olivia finds herself at the mercy of Nico, a notorious drug lord who demands her cooperation and loyalty. But even while being subjected to the dangerous lifestyle Nico leads, Olivia finds herself falling for the criminal who shows her his heart one moment, but the next promises her that she will only ever be just a means to an end…
Olivia was such an amazing character! Strong, intelligent and not afraid to stand up for herself, Nico didn’t have a chance when it came to falling for her, no matter who her mother was. And Nico may have exuded danger out of his very pores, but he also continually displayed his sensitive and patient side when it came to dealing with Olivia.
This story was superb!! From the writing, to the characters, to the entirety of the plot… this book was simply outstanding. I loved that the sexual moments between Olivia and Nico were hot AF, while still remaining true to Olivia’s past and some sexual hang-ups she had. The pulse thumping suspense kept the storyline exciting and engaging, and kept me guessing until the last possible moment. In the end, Truth in Pieces is a MUST READ if you happen to enjoy a fresh, sexy and completely absorbing story!
