Lord Dashiell “Dash” Lovett is one of the notorious and sexy, bad boys of Riot House. While always being upfront about his disinterest in any sort of relationship, one encounter with Carina Mendoza takes everything Dash thought he ever wanted and turns it completley on it’s head.

Riot Rules was an intriguing and sexy, forbidden romance, and the second book in the Crooked Sinners series. A relationship between Dash and Carrie may be an impossibility in the complicated world of Lord Lovett, but keeping their distance will be an even harder endeavor. And just when they think they’ve figured everything out between them, life around Wolf Hall is about to get very, very twisted…
Carrie has a very clear set of instructions when it comes to her life at Wolf Hall, and fraternizing with boys is strictly forbidden. But there is something about Dash that makes Carrie forget why she must adhere to the rules, and why jumping into a relationship with someone guaranteed to break her heart is never a good idea…
Dash struggles with living up to the expectations of his strict and resolute father, and more recently, the romantic restrictions of living at Riot House. With a need to protect Carrie from his friends, Dash knows what will happen if their relationship is discovered, but he also can’t find it within himself to avoid her like he should definitely be doing.
This was a another steamy and compelling story in the Crooked Sinners series! Carrie and Dash’s interactions go from contentious to can’t-stay-away-from-each-other, but while their relationship is building, a dark cloud is about to envelope Wolf Hall…
I am really loving this series, and I was ecstatic to read Carrie and Dash’s story! I was super giddy (as always) at encountering some Callie Hart character cameos, and I absolutely loved the connection between Carrie and Dash. There were a few small issues that I had with the series continuance from the first book. And while some parts just didn’t seem to fit as well as I would have liked, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
