Here With Me was a suspenseful, emotional and sexy read, set in the picturesque and idyllic Scottish countryside. Robyn travels to Scotland to get the answers from her father she has wanted for years… like why he abandoned her to follow around the movie star, Lachlan Adair. But their reunion soon takes a turn and Robyn decides she needs to stick around Scotland for awhile… much to the annoyance of the former movie star himself…

I adored everything about the brilliant and formidable, Robyn! She epitomized being a strong woman who knows how to take care of herself, but who is also able to be emotionally vulnerable, and genuine. When she shows up in Scotland seeking either closure or a relationship with her father, it completely broke my heart, but that was just the beginning of Robyn’s amazing journey.

Lachlan shows a façade to the world that only his friends and family will ever be allowed to see through. This loyal and dedicated protector will do anything for the people he loves, which may include protecting one of his closest friends from his own daughter. And when Robyn shows up with a chip on her shoulder and only one side of the story, Lachlan needs to keep his distance or set the record straight… but might just end up falling for her instead…

This book was a fantastic and engaging read from it’s very first page! I was mesmerized by the intricately layered plot and the compelling cast of characters, not to mention the beautifully descriptive scenes set in the incredible Scottish Highlands!

The enemies to lovers relationship between Robyn and Lachlan was entertaining and scorchingly sexy! I was absolutely hooked from their very first meeting with disdain fueled banter, every moment they fought against their inconvenient attraction, and of course, when they finally gave in to all of that simmering, sexual tension…
