Layla was a warm and giving woman who has earned every last perk of her lavish lifestyle. Growing up as a foster kid, she is no stranger to dealing with some less than congenial acquantices… and Jude seems to be no different than the people of her past…

Jude takes one look at Layla and he knows exactly what kind of woman she is. Dressed to the nines, driving a fancy car, and used to walking all over men, he has an ex just like her. But when Jude finally realizes just how wrong his snap judgment of Layla was… it may be too late for any sort of a lasting romance between them…

This book was a fabulously fun and beguiling read! Layla and Jude’s hilarious feud sets the stage for an incredibly spicy and entirely epic, enemies to lovers, romantic delight! I adored the characters in this book, especially Jude’s unforgettable and absolutely hysterical grandma. The heat level between Layla and Jude was scorching hot, but it might have been the levels of acceptance and connection that they found with each other that was the sexiest of all… 

Knockout was book two in the delightfully engaging Whiskey Dolls series, where the woman are not only genuine and sincere, but fabulously empowered as well…
