What could be worse than chaperoning a group of middle schoolers on a three week trip to Rome… in the heat of summer?! How about having to co-chaperone said trip with your too-gorgeous-for-his-own-good, arch nemesis?!

Audrey Cohen and Noah Peterson can only agree on one thing… that they absolutely can’t stand each other. But, when the romance of Rome sets in, these two enemies will start questioning just about everything they thought they knew about each other…

Enemies Abroad was one of those superbly magical reads that hooks you from the very first sentence and then never lets you go! This enemies to lovers tale was sexy, fresh and fun, and set in the gorgeous city of Rome, Italy. Audrey and Noah’s hilarious banter and never-ending feud was the perfectly right mix of everything I love about reading romance!

This story was an easy one to fall in love with! Audrey was adorably quirky and unique, and her hatred of Noah never failed to make me laugh out loud. And yet, for all of the vitriol that she saves for Noah, Audrey was an undeniably charming character. Noah absolutely loved to push every single one of Audrey’s buttons… and the result was always met with a match of witty repartee. Their sexual tension and chemistry was sizzling, and done right… even while set at a decidedly slow burn pace…

The sights, smells and HEAT of Rome was so well described in this book, that the setting was painted as a vivid picture in my head. Having traveled there before, I was transported back to this beautiful and historical city, and left with a mission to see Rome again.

This book was an utter delight to read! From it’s unforgettable characters, to the captivating story, and of course, the flawless enemies to lovers plot, I did not want this book to end! It’s been quite awhile since a book has made me so incredibly happy while reading it, and Enemies Abroad left me with a perma-smile on my face, and a whole new appreciation for my absolutely favorite trope.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
