Liz Garner has been in love with Ryan O’Hare ever since she was a teenager… but after one humiliating incident, she has successfully avoided him for years. That is, until he hires her to keep an eye on his wild and crazy grandma for the summer… and suddenly Ryan starts seeing the slightly uptight Liz in a whole new light…

The Opposite of Wild was a cute and angsty, opposites attract romance! Liz and Ryan can’t deny their mutually steamy attraction, but when it comes to a relationship? Sometimes complete opposites will just never be able to see eye to eye…

This was a sweet and heartwarming read. Liz was a sweet character who was always giving up so much for the people around her. I enjoyed her journey in this book, but I would have loved for her to have developed a stiffer spine when it came to her somewhat detrimental, giving nature.

Ryan makes no secret that he has always been anti-relationship and responsibility, but after a traumatic childhood, trusting people to love him just doesn’t come easily. For most of the book, Ryan came off like a little bit of a jerk, but I loved the progress he made in his relationships and the work he put in when it came to proving himself to Liz.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
