Darya Cristescu is the daughter of two extremely powerful Tribane residents, and someday, her vampire/witch abilities may even rival theirs… but today is not that day.
While Darya is busy attending classes and harboring a secret crush on a warlock who might possibly despise her entire family, little does she know, that her life is about to be turned completely upside down in a matter of days…

Foretold was the intriguing introduction to a new generation of supernatural young adults who are attending the St. Bastian Institute. Darya Cristescu and Peter Girard have known each other for many years as classmates, and familial enemies, but when things start to go wrong at St. Bastian, these two will become closer than they ever bargained for…
This book was a great beginning to the new second generation, St. Bastian Institute series. We first met the parents of Darya in the fantastic Blood Magic series, and while she is still young and learning about her powers, Darya’s continuing story promises to be a fascinating one.
The characters in this book were all interesting and extremely likable (well, most of them!) Darya was strong, brilliant, and a great friend, and I truly appreciated her ability to make smart decisions, time and time again. I loved the connection that she shared with Peter, and the potential that their relationship has is endless… hopefully!!
I am excited to see what comes next for Darya and friends. This book had its moments of excitement, but I think that its biggest accomplishment was to get us invested in the characters and to look to what the future may hold for Darya and her sure-to-be-complicated journey…
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
