I truly loved this amazing and sweet story. Both Ani and Garrett have been hiding in their own self-imposed comfort zones since tragedy seperately struck their lives. But when they find each other, they both soon come to realize that they may need to learn how to live, and love, again… 

Ani was such a great character. Funny, protective and intuitive, she truly loves her hometown and believes that the people who reside there are the absolute best. From the moment she meets Garrett, she recognizes the deep wounds that his soul carries, and his need to stay unrecognized as long as possible.

After the loss of his wife, Garrett abandoned everything… his friends, his band… and even his music. But soon after Garrett settles into Wildwood, and an unlikely friendship with his new neighbor, he slowly begins a new journey, and works to rebuild his shattered heart…

This book was a quick and addicting read. I loved Ani and Garrett’s relationship, it was cute and sexy, and they shared a completely natural chemistry. The town of Wildwood itself was incredibly special, with unique and genuine residents who go out of their way to embrace newcomers and take care of them like they are their own.
