Torn from an alternate world and forced to lie about her identity, Maxine finds herself in a desperate situation where she needs to marry a man she has never met. But somewhere in between her forced subterfuge and trying to fit in… Maxine soon discovers just how much she genuinely likes her future husband, the man that she can never tell of her past…

This story was such an extraordinary reading treat! I was so excited to revisit the fabulous Fantasyland series, and this book absolutely delivered with a new, fresh story, and of course, some cameos from past beloved characters!

Maxine (aka Satrine) was a brave, fierce and superbly intelligent woman, who was the perfect match for the damaged and weary, Loren. I loved their dynamic, and the intense interest that Loren immediately shows for Satrine. They were a great couple, destined for a happy marriage… but of course, the secret that lies between them did it’s best to wreak havoc on them both…

This is the KA book that I have been missing for quite awhile! I loved the plot, and the story was fast paced and incredibly well written. I enjoyed all of the characters, and I simply devoured this book from beginning to end…
