But when Byron agrees to help Winnie boost her TikTok following, these two are about to find out just how much chemistry they can create together…

I enjoyed this book so much! Both Winnie and Byron were flawed, superbly interesting, and multi-layered characters. Winnie’s passion for teaching was truly admirable, and I loved her ability to recognize Byron’s needs when it came to dealing with the world around him.

I was so happy that we got to experience this story from Byron’s POV as well. His reclusive nature and inherent grouchiness all made sense when we got a look at how he uniquely processes the things that everyone else around him views quite differently. 

I enjoyed how these characters work hard to understand each other, and how their unique friend group accepts each other despite any differences they may have (well… most of them!) The premise of this book was excellent, and the writing was fabulous (as always!) I did feel a little disconnected in some places in this story. I felt that too much was happening for just the one storyline, which led to the slow burn aspect to be almost painfully slow at times. But, all-in-all, this book was a really great read!
