The Elysian is going to be a community like nothing that has ever come before it, and Layla Marks gets to be one of the select few people to see it, first hand. But when she arrives for her tour, the property pales in comparison to its enigmatic creator, Cain Archer…

Here Lies North was a sexy, captivating and heart pounding, romantic suspense read. Layla has heard many stories of Cain Archer and his difficult personality, but when she meets him a completely different man emerges. He’s attentive, charming, and interested in her… but there is something more to Cain than meets the eye…

This book had a fantastically absorbing plot that kept me glued to the edge of my seat! Layla is a journalist tasked with writing about a community development called The Elysian, which is jaw dropping, and gorgeous, but all Layla can focus on is the lead architect, Cain.

What starts as a story of a mutual attraction and the pains of a burgeoning long distance relationship, suddenly takes a turn with the return of a notorious serial killer.

This suspenseful and engaging read kept me guessing until almost the very end! I loved the twists and turns, and of course, the sexy relationship between Layla and Cain!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
