Royal Beasts (Monsters of St. Mark’s #3) by KC Cross (JA Huss)

3.5 Stars

** Royal Beasts is book three in the Monsters of Saint Mark’s series and should be read after Damaged Gods and Savage Saints. This review may contain spoilers if you are not yet caught up in the series. **

Pell and Pie have found love, and Tomas, a dragon companion of his own. But when Saint Mark’s starts crumbling beneath their feet… what will happen to the sanctuary that has become the only home they’ve ever really known…

Time is running out, and the only way to save everything, is to go back to the beginning… where the 2000 year old curse started…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Royal Beasts was the gripping and fantastical third installment in the Monsters of Saint Mark’s series. Pie and Pell’s story is about to find some resolution… but not everyone may survive the journey…
Saint Mark’s sanctuary has opened its doors to many monsters and beasts, but everything about how it came to be is shrouded in mystery. Pie’s arrival may have challenged the very existence of Saint Mark’s, but she and Pell may be the only ones who can save it…
This series continues to be an engaging and sexy read filled with monsters, intrigue, and epic world building. I loved Pie and Pell’s romance, and the convoluted road they have traveled to find each other. But when they travel to the past to finally get the answers we have all been waiting for, everything I thought I knew about their stories was completely and utterly not what it seemed… and I expected nothing less from this jaw-dropping fantasy world…
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
