Dirk has absolutely no interest in pursuing a student. He is a professional, who wants to keep his new position for as long as he’s welcome… and the worst thing he could do would be getting caught with his proverbial, or actual… pants down… 

I loved this book so much! It was incredibly steamy, had an engaging plot, and I was rooting for the characters SO MUCH. Rain was a tough girl who had been through a lot growing up, and was prepared to take back her own power, once and for all. She had no plan to even like Dirk, let alone completely fall for her mark…

Dirk fought so hard against his attraction to Rain, not wanting to take advantage of his position of power, or of a girl who was much younger than him, even if she was older than a typical student. But denying his attraction was impossible, and Rain was determined to prove to him that their connection was so much more than an infatuation… that is, until the real truth comes out…

This book may just be my favorite in the sexy and suspenseful, Hamiltown Heat series! I loved the sexy moments between Rain and Dirk, and the direction that the plot takes was super interesting and completely engaging. Plus, I always love previous characters checking in, and revealing more secrets, of course!
