An Armored Heart by R.C. Boldt

3 Stars

Daniella “Ella” Marchetti may have been a bit desperate when she marched into Steele Cunningham’s office to demand he save her restaurant… but agreeing to fake date him for the next four months of her life?! That may just prove to be a step too far…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An Armored Heart was an opposites attract, fake relationship, romance read! Ella and Steele drive each other absolutely crazy… she’s emotional and finds joy in almost anything… while he has the heart of the tin man. And while these two polar opposites should never work, the more the pretend to date each other, the more they fall into some very real feelings…
Ella owns a restaurant which is in danger of being completely closed down when the building is sold to developer Steele Cunningham. He’s ruthless and cold… and yet the only thing he wants from Ella is her time, and the title of fake girlfriend…
Steele is a millionaire businessman who is used to getting what he wants, and what he wants is Ella. She is so very different from the women he has dated in the past, and from his family who have never once shown an outward display of love.
This book was an entertaining read with an amazing opposites attract romance theme. I really enjoyed the banter between Ella and Steele, and the emotional growth that they both found throughout this book! I loved the way that Ella always turned friendships into family, and how she was able to turn around Steele’s life for the better, just by being a part of it!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
