Gemma is in a dating rut. She is on a mission to find a nice, normal guy in Manhattan, and each guy she meets is worse than the last. So when she meets Oliver, she finds she can have fun with him and she feels like she can be herself when he’s around.
Oliver doesn’t have the time or inclination to date. He isn’t a player, but just doesn’t see the need to be attached to one person. He and Gemma have a refreshing, honest friendship (with benefits!), but no one ever thought ahead to what happens when feelings inevitably get involved.
I enjoyed this cute, fast paced and funny story. Gemma and Oscar were likable, realistic characters. Gemma’s dates, friends and personality kept me laughing through the whole book. I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
