Ashley is a hard working, independent woman. She works full time and goes to school, and has no time for any other entanglements in her life.

Quinton is enamored by Ashley. She is so different and refreshing and unlike any woman he has ever known… now all he has to do is convince her to give him the chance to spend some of her very little free time with her…

This storyline was great at the heart of it, but it drives me crazy when I read a second book in a standalone series and I am supposed to know everything that apparently happened in book one.  It’s a standalone, right? It should therefore stand on it’s own.

The characters were interesting, and could have been great, but I felt that they just weren’t very developed. This book had potential to be amazing. I also felt it needed updating since it is apparently being re-released with a new cover. But, it’s a good story, likable characters, some definite thriller action and a nice solid read.
