Timber is a demon… of sorts. Suffering for thousands of years without the feelings of joy, or any other simple emotion, he is miserable in his existence, or lack thereof. It isn’t until Timber meets the newest hire at one of his clubs does he realize that the girl with the odd name is someone who is about to change everything…

When Kyra Apollponia is urged to apply for a new job, she is inexplicably drawn to the strange club named Soul. Even though it’s like nowhere she has ever been, it gives her a feeling of belonging she has never known before. Until she meets her new boss, and everything she thought she had found suddenly feels far more dangerous than she knows what to do with… namely Timber himself.

Darkest Sinner was an epic journey of discovery for two people who have been living for far too long without the other half of their souls. Timber and Kyra have the most complicated of attractions, with a shadowed past that they have yet to fully remember, this demon and his not-so-typical human find themselves in a race against time to find a solution to a Creator sized problem.

This book had an ultra fascinating plot concept filled with incredibly engaging characters. Kyra was an innocent human who has no idea what her life will become, or what it once was for that matter. And when she gets over her fear of all things paranormal, she dives right into their world when she finds out the truth of what could be at stake.

Timber was a broody man who has spent thousands of years searching for something to help him feel… and makes some gigantic mistakes in the process. Meeting Kyra has him remembering things long forgotten, and finally feeling something that scares him more than he wants to admit.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It had a great storyline, but it did feel too rushed at times, especially with the large undertaking of everything that the plot takes on. Kyra and Timber’s relationship was a little overshadowed by the larger action taking place in this book, but their attraction and the desperation for each other was engaging and incredibly well written.

I can’t get enough of this group of characters from the Dark Ones Saga, and with their struggles being far from over, I can’t wait to see what is next for this series!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
