I really wanted to love this book, but was seriously disappointed in just about every aspect of the story. As a former avid Nora Roberts reader, I am not sure where it all went wrong. The mundane details of Sonya’s day-to-day schedule, or the repetitive nature of just about every part of the plot, my high hopes for this trilogy were unfortunately dashed pretty early on. And while the very last chapter of the book finally had some excitement looming, the cliffhanger left me disenchanted as I will not be continuing the series.
