This book was an engaging read, and I loved the slow burn romance between Allegra and Jared! They shared a super sexy attraction, and once they gave into it, they couldn’t get enough of being together! Allegra and Jared’s lives may have been vastly different on paper, but they both shared past trauma which irrevocably changed them and made them that much stronger. The marriage of convenience plot was well done, and there were some light suspenseful elements in this story as well.
The Highlands series provides one amazing story after another! I loved Allegra and Jared’s unlikely love story, and the acceptance they found in each others arms…
