Mariah hates Liam. She has been burnt by him in the past and only can see him now for being a superficial jerk. They have a history that is unraveled throughout the entirety of the book, which reveals Mariah and Liam’s relationship may be more intense than meets the eye.
I liked the premise for the story, but the story line and the characters fell a little flat. In fact, Mariah’s Mom was never really there for her kids and it was just really sad relationship all around. Although the one character I loved was the coach, I would have enjoyed some more of his antics to lighten up the story some more. I loved Nicole London’s novel before this and was sadly disappointed to not love this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
